1905
Hefeng Cotton Mill was established,
which was the largest one in Zhejiang
province.
1945
China won the Anti-Japanese War, and
we re-established Hefeng cotton mill.
1952
In order to redevelop, cotton textile
industry voluntarily merged some factories,
and realized private-private owned.
There were 114 small cloth factories
that merged twice in Ningbo city, and
formed Renfeng, Dachang, Zhedong and
Hengfeng four cloth factories.
1956
The whole textile industry in Ningbo
was state-private owned.
May 1998
The whole textile industry in Ningbo
was regrouped in large scale, and 40-odd
state-owned textile enterprises were
reformed and Ningbo Veken Group Co.,ltd
was established.
1999
Veken purchased Dunhuang Group, which
was a listing company, and renamed Veken
Elite.
May 2002
Supported by Ningbo government, Veken
reformed property right and labor systems,
and realized MBO.
