In order to redevelop, cotton textile industry voluntarily merged some factories, and realized private-private owned. There were 114 small cloth factories that merged twice in Ningbo city, and formed Renfeng, Dachang, Zhedong and Hengfeng four cloth factories. |

The whole textile industry in Ningbo was regrouped in large scale, and 40-odd state-owned textile enterprises were reformed and Ningbo Veken Group Co.,ltd was established. |

Veken purchased Dunhuang Group, which was a listing company, and renamed Veken Elite. |
